DAY Shift
80-$100k annual salary

Key Responsibilities :

Directing and overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance department in a manufacturing facility.

Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and strategies to ensure optimal equipment functionality and uptime.

Managing a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

Planning and prioritizing maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and maximize efficiency.

Coordinating with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.

Conducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.

Managing inventory and procurement of spare parts and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among maintenance staff.

Analyzing equipment performance data and implementing improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Collaborating with external contractors and vendors as needed for specialized maintenance projects or services.

Preferred Qualifications :

Demonstrated experience in managing maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in developing and implementing maintenance procedures and strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Proven ability to lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

Strong understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.

Experience in troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing corrective actions to ensure minimal disruption to production.

Knowledge of maintenance-related software systems for tracking work orders, managing inventory, and analyzing equipment performance data.

Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols relevant to maintenance activities in a manufacturing setting.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to achieve maintenance objectives.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.

Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to optimize maintenance processes and procedures.
