What will you be doing!
- Identifying and addressing gaps in existing Waste Management Function requirements, processes, and procedures through observations, assessments, and reviews at CNL’s sites and through benchmarking against other non-CNL facilities (nuclear & non-nuclear).
- Assisting in the development of processes to conduct verification and assessment of waste management practices.
- Conducting site and facility-level Waste Management Function compliance verifications and Waste Management Assessments of Waste Generators and Waste Receivers, to identify non-compliances and opportunities for improvement.
- Establishing, documenting, and maintaining a system to compile site-specific Function measures, waste data, and records, including preparation of periodic summary reports.
- Communicating Function requirements and opportunities for improvement through
a) assisting in developing and delivering Waste Management Function Training and
What we are looking for :
At minimum, a Bachelors (Honours) in Engineering or Science from a university of recognized standing; or membership in an engineering or scientific professional organization authorized by statute to establish qualification for membership in that organization.
Experience in collecting, analyzing and organizing complex data sets to make recommendations based on experience, industry-best practices or innovative approaches.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, with stakeholders from across a large-scale organization.
Level 2 Secret requires a minimum of 7 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and / or the United Kingdom . CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”
Working Conditions :
As a result, this position will be eligible for a long-term Remote Work arrangement.
