Job description

Position Description

Reporting to Les Fournier, President and Founder of Tavin Pharma Inc., you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients on behalf of the Company. You will use your sales experience and in-depth knowledge to pitch and successfully close sales. A specific sales territory within the GTA and Southern Ontario will have to be served. You will be the point of contact for clients and always strive to provide them with products that best fit their practice needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
  • Build relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
  • Assist in developing and presenting virtual and in-person presentations in veterinary clinic.
  • Collaborate with sales team to fulfill client needs and reach prospective clients.
  • Track client account metrics in the CRM and provide management with reports on customer behavior; including needs, interest and problems.
  • Maintain a sales plan and grow sales base within the territory on schedule.
  • Accelerate the resolution of customer problems to maximize satisfaction.
  • Prevent additional issues by improving processes.
  • Maintain updated, in-depth knowledge of Company product.
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, while meeting deadlines.
  • Committed to providing first-class service and support.
  • Act as client advocate while focusing on improving the client’s experience.
  • Execute operational marketing plans that will support business objectives.
  • Attend conferences and industry shows.

As a successful candidate, you will have the following qualifications :

  • College diploma in business or any other related discipline.
  • Relevant sales experience in the veterinary industry an asset.
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
  • Effortlessly builds and maintains productive, cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Listens actively and demonstrates a strong commitment to a ‘client first’ philosophy.
  • Results driven and focuses on reaching goals.
  • Self-starter who demonstrates the ability to maintain stamina under stress.
  • Responsible, organized and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Skillfully negotiates to determine alternatives to reach outcomes that are accepted by all parties.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
  • Familiarity with CRM system is a definite asset.
  • Valid driver’s license (Please be prepared to provide a driver’s abstract).
  • TERMS

  • Permanent contractor position, or part-time.
  • Must be available to work some weekends and evenings to attend industry trade shows.
  • Work on the road daily, work from home a few hours a week.
  • Salary : to be determined, based on experience and qualifications.
