Job description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Yard Clerk at our Home Centre location in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Home Centre Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following :

  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in member’s lives, with a strong customer focused approach
  • Provide legendary service to members and guests through various touch points and communication channels
  • Build positive relationships with the yard, desk, and leadership teams
  • Come to work with a positive, professional attitude and be dependable for all shifts
  • Load and unload merchandise while maintaining the cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard
  • Fill orders, receive freight, deliver, unload product, and preform inventory counts
  • Perform customer carry-out service and product assembly, as requested
  • Complete required paperwork base on department standards
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Who You Are :

You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and Customer Service :

  • You have a grade 12 education or equivalent experience; previous customer service and home centre / building materials experience are considered an asset
  • You’re honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You’re well-organized and capable of attaining a high-level of production with a minimum amount of supervision
  • You believe in building relationships, collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
  • You are able to fulfill physical job requirements including heavy lifting and carrying
  • You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
