The Resort Municipality of Osoyoos, BC located in the beautiful south Okanagan Valley is accepting applications for the position of Relief Recreation Facilities Attendant.

Position Overview :

The Town of Osoyoos Community Services Department invites applications for a Relief Recreation Facilities Attendant.

The successful applicant will be required to perform skilled facilities maintenance of a varied nature under the direction of the Director of Community Services. Work involves ice-making duties, monitoring the operation of the refrigeration plant at the Sun Bowl Arena, custodial, janitorial, and maintenance duties at the facility, and ground maintenance.

Qualifications :

Valid BC Driver’s License – Class 5.
Recognized First Aid Certificate.
BC Safety Authority certificate in safety Awareness.
Ice Facility Operators course or Refrigeration Certificate is mandatory.

Hours per Week : Hours and work will vary and will include evening and weekend shifts.

Hourly Rate : $36.60 - $37.79 per hour plus 15.5% in lieu of benefits
