Job descriptionAssess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients Administer massage techniques, treating soft tissues and joints of the body through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations, remedial exercise programs, and client self-help programs Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques for further postural improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and rehabilitative exercises Maintain records of treatments given Consult with other healthcare professionals such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, physicians, and psychologists when developing treatment plans for clients Certification by the respective college and in good standing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to ongoing medical education Ability to manage a diverse range of health issues in patients of all age groups High on discipline, punctuality, courtesy, ethics, with a strong moral compass and compassion Respect from colleagues and patients Plenty of opportunities to learn and grow in a diverse multidisciplinary environment including but not limited to Family Physicians, SLPs, and Occupational Therapists Competitive compensation package with profit-sharing programs Employer-funded benefits with an additional healthcare spending account Paid vacation and personal days Health & Wellness programs Mentorship and development opportunities

They work in private practice, including group or team practices, hospitals, clinics, extended care facilities, rehabilitation centers, and educational institutions.
