THE ROLE
The Senior Manager, Military Family Services will plan, oversee, manage, assess and implement the delivery of Military Family Services (MFS) and will provide advice and guidance on programs and services and ensure consistent application of MFS programs, policies and services.
The Senior Manager, Military Family Services will ensure Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) compliance to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the Service Level Agreement and participate and lead the development of policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), reports and briefs as well as lead the research, analysis and evaluation of information and statistical data in order to provide recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Community Development or a related field AND several years of experience in the non-profit and / or family resources programs
Experience
In the development and implementation of community programs
In planning and facilitating presentations and workshops
In developing, interpreting, implementing and applying policies, procedures, and relevant legislation / regulations
In budget administration
In project management
In personnel administration
In business planning
In the not-for-profit sector, an asset
