Developer / Programmer (Junior to Mid-Level)
Igniter Tickets is looking for enthusiastic and driven developers to join our growing team! We provide web-based box office technology and professional services to sports teams, venues, and live events across North America.

Hours and Compensation
- Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
- 40 hours per week.
- Starting vacation allowance of 10 days per accrued full-time work.
- Benefits available after a 3-month probationary period.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications and tools to meet client and organizational needs.Build new customer-facing features and improve existing features to enhance usability and customer satisfaction.Contribute to improving and refactoring existing codebases.Assist in scaling applications to handle increasing demand.Collaborate with the development team to meet project deadlines.Work with operations and sales teams to provide excellent customer service.Qualifications
We're looking for individuals with 1-3 years of experience in a development environment, a strong aptitude for learning, and a positive attitude.
General Qualifications
Familiarity with Git and Gitlab.Understanding of web standards and how the web works.Basic testing knowledge.Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.Self-motivated and eager to learn.Front End Qualifications
Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development.Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework / library (React, Vue.js, or similar).Understanding of browser compatibility and performance optimization.Interest in UI / UX principles and accessibility best practices.Back End Qualifications
Experience with Ruby on Rails (or similar scripting languages), utilizing MySQL for a database.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and basic understanding of server-side logic.Basic Linux knowledge.Experience with API integrations.Valued Assets
Remote work experience.Customer service or technical support experience.Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.Excellent English communication skills.Experience with Google Cloud or other cloud platforms.Experience writing SQL queries, and designing database schema.Remote Work Requirements
