A global manufacturing leader is seeking a HR Specialist to support its HR functions and payroll operations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in payroll processing, compliance, and year-end T4 reporting, demonstrating expertise in employee relations, recruitment, and HR policy development. Working closely with management, this role will ensure compliance with labor laws, optimize HR processes, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Salary + Additional Benefits :
90,000 - $110,000 + bonus

Location : Leduc, Canada
Type of Position : Direct hire
Responsibilities :
Biweekly payroll processing
Year end T4’s and Workers Compensation Annual Reporting.
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training coordination.
Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and improve processes.
Collaborate with management to develop HR policies that align with organizational goals.
Utilize HR software systems for payroll processing and employee management.
Requirements :
High School Diploma required
Strong knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices
Payroll Processing and Compliance
Familiar with Payroll HR software systems like Payworks is a plus
Intermediate Excel skills required
Ability to analyze data effectively to support decision-making
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities
