Part-time 0.50 FTE Educational Assistant position
Mornings only
Duties to commence March 3, 2025 and continue for the remainder of the 2024 / 2025 school year
Working with students in a junior high small group setting

Qualifications and / or Assets :

Experience working with students with complex / severe needs

Effective oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality

Calm and patient approach to solving problems

Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment

Background and / or experience with academic and / or behavioral needs

Ability to work one on eon and in small groups with students in an inclusive environment

Commitment to ongoing professional growth

Knowledge of literacy and numeracy strategies would be considered an asset

Experience and / or training as an Educational Assistant
