Position DescriptionHas the Lord called and equipped you to serve as a pastor to a multi-generational English-speaking congregation in a Chinese church in Vancouver, Canada? Then, the Lord may be preparing you to serve the Vancouver Chinese Evangelical Free Church as its next English-speaking Congregation Associate Pastor.As the lead pastor of the English-speaking Congregation, you will have the privilege of preaching the Word of God, planning and leading the Sunday Services of the congregation, leading a core group of dedicated volunteers, providing pastoral care and spiritual direction for those navigating life’s major transitions, and serving as an ambassador for Christ and the church in the community.We value our relationship with the other congregations as many of our congregants are second generation Chinese Canadians, and we share common ministries in the church. We should welcome a pastor who can help us create a vision for how to utilize our strengths as a multi-generational Chinese church.QualificationsA theological degree from an accredited North American evangelical theological seminary or equivalent, preferably with a Master of Divinity.
