Job description

This is a great opportunity to join an organization that is committed to ending homelessness and improving the lives of the most vulnerable in our community.

The Janitor reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible to provide a range of services that promote a positive appearance of the facility for both clients and staff. Working in conjunction with the rest of the team at Rock Bay Landing, the Janitor ensures that areas are clean and free of hazards.

Qualifications

Grade 12 plus one (1) year of recent related experience.

Requirements :

WHMIS Certification.

Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.

Job Information

Hourly Rate $24.43 - $28.04

Work Days Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, every 2nd Saturday.

Shift Time 7 : 00am - 5 : 00pm.

Weekly Hours : 35.

Union : BCGEU.

Job Type : Permanent - Full-time.

In compliance with OHS and WorkSafe regulations, staff at this site will be supplied with and required to wear a half-mask respirator while performing task-specific duties.
