Job Title : Security ArchitectLocation : Halifax, CA (Remote)Contract Duration : Long-term (~40 hours per week)Job Summary : Security Architect to assist with their ongoing migration from legacy data centers to new data centers hosting servers on HPE Greenlake private cloud. The ideal candidate will be a senior security expert experienced in network architecture, IT infrastructure, application security, and general best practices.Key Responsibilities : Focus on IRAM (private cloud), server and AD migrations, and secure configurations aligned with Point32Health’s Security Standards and Industry Best Practices.Document architecture, process flows, and patterns.Collaborate with Security Enterprise Architects, Security Engineering, and GRC teams.Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing.Perform Risk Assessments to ensure alignment with company and industry standards.Raise risks and document findings.Assist with Disaster Recovery architecture.Hands-on work with Delinea, Entra, and PowerShell scripts.Provide technical support and guidance to IT and security teams.Develop and deliver security practices training and documentation.Collaborate with stakeholders to meet security requirements.Stay up to date with the latest security technologies and trends.Participate in incident response and forensic investigations.Qualifications : Certifications (e.G., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.Application Architecture (COTS, Web applications, APIs, etc.) knowledge is a plus.Understanding of certificates (TLS) and PKI.Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience : 10+ years of experience in IT security (CISSP / CCSP preferred).Experience with Secrets Management (Delinea Secrets Server preferred).5+ years of experience in IT security.Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) preferred.Strong understanding of security best practices and industry standards.Experience with training and documentation development.Windows Server administration and security experience.Linux (RedHat RHEL) security experience preferred.Experience with Active Directory, Entra security, Azure Cloud, SailPoint, HPE Greenlake, RedHat OpenShift, and VXLAN is a plus.Experience with zero trust network architectures.
