TABER CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Regular Early Learning AssistantApprox 14 hours / week- Monday-Thursday 8 : 15am-11 : 45a.m mornings, plus 1 Friday morning. This position will commence December 16, 2024, and conclude on June 12, 2025.Taber Central School is seeking an Educational Assistant to support students in our Early Learning program commencing Monday, December 16. This school supports a diverse community of learners in the heart of Taber with a student population of about 225 students. Central School runs two early learning programs : a Monday / Wednesday (some Fridays) morning program and a Tuesday / Thursday morning program. Children aged 2.8 through 4.11 attend Early Learning. Experience working with young children and education / training specific this age group will be considered an asset, such as Early Childhood Education levels 1-3 certification. Other areas of training or experience would include working with speech and language delays, English as additional language learners, children with complex needs and play-based learning.
