Job descriptionConduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences. Source inspiration from various cultural, artistic, and fashion influences to create unique and distinctive designs. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure designs meet brand objectives and market requirements. Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the feasibility of designs and oversee the product development process. Create detailed design specifications, sketches, and technical drawings for prototyping and sampling. Evaluate and refine prototypes, ensuring quality, functionality, and adherence to design specifications. Analyse fashion trends and consumer behaviour to anticipate future design directions. Provide insights and recommendations on product assortments based on market trends and customer feedback. Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field. Proven experience as a Women's Designer with a focus on footwear, jewellery and small leather goods. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful designs. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends. Effective communication and collaboration skills. We are looking for an experienced Women's Designer specialising in footwear, jewellery, and small leather goods. The ideal candidate will be a trendsetter with a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of market trends, and a strong ability to translate creative concepts into luxury products. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute designs that align with the brand's aesthetic and resonate with our target audience.
