Job descriptionNationally Accredited Personal Training Certification or certification within 60 days of employment. CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification or certification within X days of employment. High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge of fitness, endurance, strength / power training, and program design. Strong coaching and time management skills, with the ability to motivate multiple clients in a group setting. Ability to work with clients of all backgrounds and goals. Willingness to deliver virtual coaching services. Strong communication skills and team orientation. Flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends. Anytime Fitness Orillia is considered to be a premier place to work within the fitness industry, where we strive to help our members through coaching and community support. We are seeking a full-time individual who is highly motivated with a passion for helping others improve their lives through fitness, nutrition, and recovery. This position will help grow our Personal Training department by working in a creative, fun, and upbeat atmosphere where each day is different.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fitness consultations for new members, including goal setting, body scan and fitness assessment, sample workout, and recommendations of our training programs.
- Deliver high-quality, pre-programmed 1-on-1 and group workouts with energy and safety.
- Educate clients on safe and effective training regimens, provide nutrition guidance, and promote recovery.
- Drive client success through session attendance and metric tracking.
- Administer body scan technology and interpret results.
- Engage with digital coaching platforms to motivate clients outside of the club.
- Provide excellent customer service through member engagement and accountability.
- Achieve a monthly personal training revenue goal established by management.
- Partner with the member sales team to promote membership growth.
- Attend weekly / monthly team meetings.
- Ensure facility cleanliness and tidiness.
- Demonstrate a drive for career development through continued education and remain current on certifications, CPR / First Aid, and industry trends.
