Financial auditor Jobs in Vancouver, BC

We are seeking an Entry Level Financial Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate & Property sector, located in Vancouver, British Columbia. As an Entry Level Financial Accountant, your primary role would be to handle customer applications, maintain accurate customer records, and manage customer inquiries. Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary action.

Responsibilities :

• Handle the process of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.
• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate.
• Take responsibility for vendor management and communication in accounts payable.
• Monitor the AP inbox and ensure the smooth flow of invoices through AP while processing payments.
• Oversee the receipt and recording of payments in accounts receivable and make bank deposits.
• Keep track of the balances of business and personal accounts and complete transfers.
• Schedule monthly and other recurring payments.
• Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and journal entries.
• Use software tools such as Beanworks and Sage 300 for various accounting tasks.
• Use Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial accounting role
• Proven expertise in Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Prior experience in the Real Estate and Property industry is preferred
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required
