Job description
I'm currently looking for a network and cloud systems administrator for one of our customers. This is a permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, hybrid, based in Montreal. Salary varies according to experience ($70,000 to $80,000).Your duties will include :
- Ensure optimal performance, scalability and profitability of infrastructure (cloud and on-premise)
- Implement best practices in cloud cost management, operational efficiency and network security
- Analyze Azure usage patterns and optimize resources to reduce costs without affecting performance
- Perform regular audits of cloud infrastructure to identify optimization opportunities
- Respond to infrastructure incidents and alerts, coordinating with offshore support teams to minimize downtime
- Document incident responses, root cause analyses and preventive measures to improve system resilience
- Degree in information technology, computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position
- Certifications in Azure, cloud infrastructure or network administration (an asset)
- Good knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, WAN, LAN, firewalls
- Bilingualism in French and English (international and pan-Canadian company, some employees are English-speaking only)
