Are you a nurturing and responsible individual with a passion for supporting families? Our family of four in Pickering, Ontario is seeking a dedicated nanny to join our team. This live-out position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional childcare and support to our family on a part time basis. We have two children (currently 10 mos and 2.5 yrs) both work in demanding jobs. Our oldest is in local daycare and we are awaiting a spot for our youngest.We are seeking an individual to start immediately on a part time basis (schedule to be agreed together) with availability to provide full time care from mid-April to July. Long term, we are seeking someone to pick our kids up from daycare daily and care for them through dinnertime. Responsibilities to include assistance with household management (cleaning, errands / groceries, laundry) and meal preparation during the day before picking up the children. Hours tentatively expected to be 2-7pm from Mon through Thurs (= 20 hours per week). Example of a possible daily schedule : o2-3 : 30pmMeal Prep, Laundry & Light Housekeeping; may also include occasional errands o3 : 45pmDaycare pick up – walk to / from if weather allows o4-5pmPlaytime – park / playground visit if weather allows o5 : 30pmDinner Prep o6pmFamily Dinner – most nights one or both of us will be home from work; you are welcome to join us for dinner or, if we are home, may have the option to clean up and leave early o6-6 : 30 / 7pmKitchen Clean Up / Home Tidy We are offering a competitive hourly rate, commensurate with your experience and qualifications as well as the hours and responsibilities agreed upon.The ideal candidate will have experience in child care and be able to provide a safe and stimulating environment.
