We are looking for a legal assistant specialized in labor and employment law for a 12month maternity leave replacement on behalf of our client a recognized law firm. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and collaborate in a flexible humancentered environment.

Responsibilities :
Proactively support professionals in managing and following up on their cases.
Coordinate schedules and ensure necessary followups for appointments meetings hearings events and committees.
Ensure deadlines are met and follow up on client files and deliverables.
Make reminders and followups with current and potential clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Prepare required documentation for various planned events.
Transcribe dictations proofread and correct documents.
Manage file openings and billing.
Prepare expense allocations.
Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
What you will need to succeed :
Degree in secretarial studies legal secretarial studies or equivalent training.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in legal secretarial work ideally in labor and employment law.
Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) to assist lawyers in both languages.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite especially Word (intermediate / advanced level) Outlook and Excel.
Familiarity with Ma tre and iManage Work 10 software (an asset).
Excellent client orientation courtesy and professionalism.
Responsibility attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Team spirit and a sense of initiative.
