Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Manufacturing to build our production operation . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing the build and operation of our manufacturing process. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in manufacturing processes, team management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and construction of a new manufacturing line, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and high performance.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and standards that align with best practices and company objectives.
- Oversee the selection and installation of equipment, machinery, and technology to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Hire, train, and manage a high-performing team of manufacturing personnel, providing mentorship and career development.
- Work cross-functionally to establish clear timelines, deliverables, and milestones for the buildout and production ramp-up.
- Develop and manage the budget for the manufacturing line project, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Establish a safety-first culture and implement stringent quality control processes to ensure product excellence.
- Continuously assess and optimize processes, implementing lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure seamless integration of material flows and inventory management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure production targets are consistently met.
- Drive the operationalization of the new manufacturing line, ensuring on-time delivery of products with cost-effective methods.
