Job description

Senior Data Governance Specialist to lead the transformation of enterprise data governance and data security leveraging O and SharePoint Online.

Candidate must be willing to come in the office in downtown Calgary at least a couple times / week. Client works in a hybrid environment to meet with business units and better understand each of their unique requirements so that they can shape their program around them

Must have :

5+ years as a Senior Data Governance specialist developing and implementing enterprise data governance programs.
Experience developing governance that includes Data Retention, Records Management, Data Labelling / Classification and DLP
E xperience guiding an organization through adoption data management policies leveraging MS (O) and SharePoint Online

Nice to have :

Certifications such as Certified Records Manager (CRM), Certified Information Professional (CIP)

Experience with NIST Cybersecurity Framework

SOX Experience

MS Purview
