Job description
Are you and Airworthiness Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge certification projects?
I am looking for Airworthiness Engineers to lead and coordinate aircraft certification and airworthiness activities. In this role, you will manage the design certification of aircraft, liaising with regulatory authorities such as Transport Canada (TCCA), FAA, and EASA , and ensure compliance with all relevant airworthiness regulations. You will also lead investigations into continuing airworthiness issues collaborating with international aviation authorities and engineering leaders.
You will get to expand you skills int he following areas.
Managing and coordinate all certification activities for new and production aircraft.
Acting as a liaison with TCCA, FAA, EASA , and other foreign regulatory bodies for certification and validation programs.
Ensuring compliance with various airworthiness standards such as CAR 521, 523, EASA Part 21 and Part 23 etc
Monitoring in-service occurrences and conduct risk assessments to identify potential safety impacts.
Leading investigations into in-service difficulties, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Liaising with the TCCA regarding ongoing safety investigations.
Providing expertise on civil certification requirements and Design Approval Organization (DAO) processes.
Lead the development and enhancement of the Airworthiness Control System .
You will need to have
5 - 10 years of experience in aerospace airworthiness, certification, or compliance .
Hands-on experience with aircraft design certification and regulatory approvals across CAR 521, 523 , 527, 529 or Military equivalent.
Direct involvement in regulatory compliance for TCCA, FAA, and EASA .
Experience working within a delegated DAO .
Background in airworthiness procedures, safety investigations, and risk assessment .
