Job description

Sun Valley Co-op is currently looking for an individual to join our team at the Altona Food Store in the part-time position of Cashier.

What you'll do :

  • Provide outstanding courteous customer service
  • Operate our till system to complete customer purchases
  • Collect payment and provide correct change to customers
  • Ensure displays are appealing by facing, filling, and organizing products to meet company standards.
  • Follow company loss prevention and security policies and procedures
  • Perform interior housekeeping duties

  • You have strong organizational abilities
  • You have an enthusiastic approach to work
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
  • You are efficient and accurate in a busy environment
  • The successful candidate must be available to work daytime and evening hours
