Our consulting is working collaboratively every day with new and existing clients of the firm. When people ask “what exactly do you do”, our role as consultants is really about helping clients solve problems that they can’t solve themselves. That ‘can’t’ might be driven by a lack of knowledge or expertise, or, it might also be driven by a lack of capacity. And in some cases, clients may just need someone else from the ‘outside’ to help validate their thinking.

We approach client challenges from a broad lens or a very specific lens, depending on the nature of the issues they are facing and we work with them to scope engagements in a way that is right-sized. As an Associate, Consulting your responsibilities will include :

• Support the execution of key client engagements. This may include activities such as :
• Supporting full-service recruitment solutions
• Conducting market analysis and research to identify trends, opportunities, and leading practices
• Reviewing and analyzing information provided by clients, including business strategies, processes and policies and summarizing key findings
• Planning and supporting discovery discussions with clients to support the execution of engagements
• Supporting the preparation of client deliverables and presentations, reviewing deliverables for accuracy and quality, and supporting the project team in ensuring that all outputs meet client expectations
• Documenting and analyzing feedback gleaned from client discovery meetings, workshops and interviews
• Conducting research on potential solutions for client consideration (i.e. regarding potential vendors or systems to support efficiency and / or automation)
• Work with project leadership to define project scope and develop approaches to best address client needs, while helping clients to solve issues, remove roadblocks and achieve success
• Be curious and inquisitive, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving by seeking out information, leveraging available resources, and thinking creatively to overcome challenges
• Synthesize findings, develop recommendations, communicate internal teams, and support communications with clients
• Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects and practice areas
• Participate in business development initiatives to support the growth of the consulting practice
• Contribute to internal firm activities
• Take responsibility for identifying information sources, gathering and interpreting data, and presenting findings to case engagement team members
• Assist in managing project timelines, tracking deliverables, and supporting the project team to ensure successful project completion
• Work closely with other teams to leverage expertise and resources for client engagements
• Assist in maintaining client relationships by providing support, responding to inquiries in a timely manner, and ensuring client needs are communicated to the project team
