Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Report Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about transforming data into actionable insights and building intuitive dashboards that support strategic decision-making.

Location : GTA Hybrid 1-day in office

Status : Contract

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and other BI tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
• Implement advanced Tableau features such as Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, action filters, and user filters
• Consolidate and transform raw data into meaningful insights that support business decisions
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Continuously monitor and improve reporting performance and data accuracy
• Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure data models support reporting needs

Qualifications :

Must have Reliability Clearance or be eligible to obtain clearance

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SQL or other data manipulation languages

At least 2 years of experience developing dashboards and decision-support tools using Tableau and other BI platforms

Proven ability to build end-to-end BI solutions, including complex calculations and advanced dashboard techniques

Strong understanding of data transformation and consolidation

Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to uncover business trends and opportunities

Experience presenting insights and analytics to senior leadership

Familiarity with Agile methodologies is an asset

Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Technical Skills :

Must Have :

Proficiency in Tableau dashboard and report development

Solid understanding of data modeling and experience collaborating with Data Engineers

Nice to Have :

Working knowledge of SQL

Experience with Amazon QuickSight
