Kleinschmidt has a full-time opening for a Senior Level Geotechnical Engineer to design projects with a multi-disciplinary team for dam removals, embankment dam refurbishments, fish passage facilities, recreation facilities, renewable energy projects, and stream restorations. We are looking for someone to join a dynamic team of professionals working on unique projects across Canada and the United States.
This position is open to candidates throughout Canada . Kleinschmidt has offices located in Peterborough, Ontario and Halifax, Nova Scotia . Our flexibility and core value of relationships allow us to offer employees the opportunity to work in an office, remote, or hybrid environment.
Salary : $90,000-$150,000 / year (based on experience)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil (concentration in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering) or Geotechnical Engineering from ABET or Engineers Canada accredited college / university
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering
- Design experience of embankments, deep and shallow foundation design, and seismic design
- Enjoys collaborating with clients and co-workers and can collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team while applying geotechnical engineering skills from analysis and design through to construction
