Job description

Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Manager or Supervisor, Gordon Ramsay Burger, this position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant with the strictest regard to rules, regulations and Gordon Ramsay Burger operational guidelines while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Accountabilities

  • Clears tables or counters a s soon as they are vacated
  • Removes used dishes / glasses / cutlery / linen / paper products; disposes of them according to the outlet operational guidelines
  • Cleans tables and counters according to outlet operational guidelines
  • Assist in the overall maintenance of F&B areas including floors, walls, windows, etc.
  • Assist Servers in replenishing supplies and table maintenance
  • Assists with restocking as required and maintains a clean and tidy stock area
  • Minimizes breakage by properly filling bus pans
  • Collects recyclables for removal
  • Provides guests with additional items as requested
  • Performs opening and closing duties as required
  • Runs food to tables
  • Cleans spills as they occur
  • Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders : guests, ownership and team members
  • Ensures compl iance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
  • Minimum 6 months work experience
  • Serving it Right certification
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
  • Work Environment Considerations

  • Regular restaurant or casino environment. Standing or walking for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours
