Job description

Job Posting : Senior Project Manager

Contract Duration : 30 days with 2 potential extensions

Location : Contractor’s site, with occasional DND facility visits (access provided by DND)

Objective :

Seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the development of CAF selection assessment tools within the Director General Military Personnel Research and Analysis (DGMPRA). The role will involve overseeing a project team in the creation of a computer adaptive cognitive assessment aligned with modern testing theories.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Liaise with Technical Authority / internal stakeholders to ensure task understanding and resource qualification.
  • Oversee project tasks, including quality assurance and deliverable management.
  • Manage project administration : scheduling, progress reports, and finance / contracting matters.
  • Ensure effective delivery of cognitive assessment tools via DND's IT platform.

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years in project management, or 5+ years with a professional certification.
  • PhD or Master's degree in relevant fields (Psychometrics, Quantitative Psychology, Education, etc.)
  • Test development knowledge (e.g., Item Response Theory, Computer Adaptive Testing).
  • Evaluation Criteria :

  • Demonstrated experience in project management and psychometric tools.
  • Experience in test development, including aspects like computer adaptive testing and psychometric evaluations.
