Akkodis is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Analyst to work on-site at 215 Garry Street , providing enterprise-level support for servers, networks, firewalls, and more.
Role : Infrastructure Analyst
Location : On-site at 215 Garry Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba
Working Hours : 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM CST, Monday to Friday (7.25 hours / day). Offices are closed on Manitoba statutory holidays.
Engagement Duration : Up to 24 months, starting with an initial 6-month term, extendable for 18 months. Exceptional circumstances may allow for further extensions.
Role Overview
The Infrastructure Analyst will support the hardware and software infrastructure for business applications, including servers, storage, networks, and firewalls. Tasks include installation, upgrades, monitoring, optimization, and ongoing support of the infrastructure environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance.
- Identify and manage enterprise infrastructure performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain and upgrade operating systems, software, middleware, and firewalls.
- Support wireless access solutions and administer patches according to Vulnerability Management Standards.
- Perform backups and recovery processes.
- Conduct capacity planning and provide hardware maintenance support.
- Oversee installations on servers and ensure consistent system operations.
- Design and implement middleware software maintenance and interoperability testing.
- Document infrastructure architecture and solutions.
- Apply process improvement methods to streamline workflows.
