Looking for a part-time nanny with a flexible schedule to support our family in Williams Lake, British Columbia. We have two children, aged 5 and 8. Both attend primary school. The nanny will spend more time with the 5 year old who is neurodivergent and requires someone who is loving, patient, has a sense of humour and is forgiving. The position is live-out and part-time, the hourly rate to be negotiated. The person needs to be licensed because driving to and from activities is necessary. If you have your own transportation, we will pay mileage. We also have a vehicle that can be used.The fixed time that we require someone is Thursdays, 8 : 15 am - 4 : 30 pm when the nanny will go with the five year old to a program that runs all day. We currently have afterschool care from 3-5pm Mon-Fri which the Nanny could take over if they want the hours.Ideally, the person also has flexibility to provide care on an "on call" basis when a child is unable to attend school or needs to be picked up from school early. The ideal candidate should have previous experience with childcare and a genuine love for working with children. If you have experience working with neurodivergent people, this would be beneficial. If the right person wanted more hours, we are happy to pay for them to do other duties such as house cleaning, meal prep and dog walking.
