The major responsibility of the position is to perform tasks as a cook in food preparation and cleaning food preparation area.
Experience
Prior experience and knowledge in coordinating food distribution.
Education (Degree / Diploma / Certificate)
Completion of a recognized course in Commercial Cooking and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a large-scale commercial cooking operation (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Certification / Licensure / Registration
Safe Food Handling Certification.
Qualifications and Skills
Ability to apply food preparation knowledge with attention to food safety requirements, safe work practices, and Health Regulations.
Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing staff.
Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize work and meet established deadlines under pressure.
Physical Requirements
The incumbent is normally required to work rotating shift, including statutory holidays and weekends.
