COMPENSATION
83,400 - $121,600 annually + a generous benefits package to include medical, dental, vision and 10% employer paid 401A through VOYA Financial.
SUMMARY
The Systems Analyst III is the senior level class within the Systems Analyst series and is expected to utilize and apply skills and knowledge to perform 2nd and 3rd tier Workday support for the entire OIAA. Incumbents within this classification perform highly complex assignments, duties, and responsibilities. This hands-on technical role will be responsible for performing enterprise application administrative functions including security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, reporting, and feature releases. The ideal candidate will be service oriented and collaborative. This role reports to the Chief Information Officer, who manages the Ontario International Airport Authority’s (OIAA) implementation of IT related efforts and initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Important and essential duties may include, but are not limited to the following :
Create technical configuration including business process workflow, custom fields, custom validations, custom reports, dashboards, integrations, and security access rights.
Continuously evaluate system functionality and user needs to identify opportunities for improvement.
Gather requirements for change requests and evaluate and document technical and functional specifications against available systems and functionality.
Partner with stakeholders to design, test, implement, and maintain best practices for systems and processes within the company configuration.
Lead change control in preparation for implementation of new system rollouts and upgrades.
Resolve issues through active troubleshooting and diagnostic research.
Manage third party vendor relationships as necessary.
Maintain and support integrations.
Regularly monitor system performance, efficiency, and usage.
Uphold data governance and data integrity within the Workday modules and all integrated applications.
Monitor tickets and respond to daily support requests.
Write standard, advanced, matrix and composite reports as well as creating complex calculated fields, custom objects, and worksheets.
Stay up to date on new feature releases and lead any maintenances.
Design job aids and develop and lead user trainings.
Liaise with the Workday Community to access best practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Some evenings or weekends may be required for off-hours maintenance.
Support other enterprise applications as needed.
PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Possess subject matter experience and a track record of accomplishment in all or many of the disciplines outlined in this job description
Knowledge and proven experience in IT systems analysis, troubleshooting, and support
Ability to translate functional requirements into technology requirements that leverage the existing technology stack.
Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Proven experience with report writing.
Excellent troubleshooting methods with the ability to identify root causes and resolve issues quickly.
Strong familiarity with a broad range of information technology services and concepts, and a demonstrated facility at balancing business needs with technological realities
Effectively manages time and prioritizes duties in an environment with shifting priorities.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware, and software systems
Knowledge of all Windows operating systems, and a variety of programs
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Ability to prioritize responses to problems given system and user impacts
Ability to exercise sound judgment and creativity in making decisions
Possesses excellent technical and communication skills; communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Possess the ability to interact effectively and courteously with employees, tenants, and the general public in an international aviation environment
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Ability to consistently demonstrate the values of OIAA
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education, training, and experience that would likely provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform in the position.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, information technology, or related field.
5+ years of ERP systems administration, preferably in an IT enterprise support environment.
Previous Workday implementation and administration in HCM / Finance / Payroll experience required.
Experience supporting integrations. An iPaaS tool such as Boomi is ideal.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATION
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus
Valid Driver’s License equivalent to a California Class C driver’s license
Acceptable driving record at time of appointment and throughout employment
Ability to pass all background / reference checks, knowledge examinations, as well as aptitude tests necessary to obtain an OIAA employee badge at ONT

This is an at-will, exempt position. Only a valid and properly executed employment agreement may alter status as an at-will employee. Verbal contracts are not valid. The employment relationship may be terminated at the will of either party upon notice to the other. As an at-will employee, there would not be an established property interest in continued employment with OIAA.
